Ingredients
- 4 lime wedges
- 2 to 3 teaspoons of granulated sugar
- 8 to 10 fresh mint leaves
- 2 oz light rum
- Club soda
- 2 or 3 mint sprigs for garnish
Steps
- Muddle the lime wedges, sugar, and mint leaves in a mixing glass until the sugar is completely dissolved, all the juice is extracted from the limes, and the mint is thoroughly integrated into the juice.
- Add ice and the rum to the mixing glass
- Shake and strain into a collins glass filled with crushed ice.
- Top with club soda, and add the garnish.

- Put the ingredients into an empty glass and grind them with a muddler until all the juices have been extracted from the fruit and any sugar in the recipe is completely dissolved.
- Shake and Strain
- Fill a shaker two-thirds full of ice and add the ingredients in the order given. Shake for approximately 15s and strain the drink into the appropriate glass.
