Ingredients
3/4 oz fresh lime juice
1 oz simple syrup
2 mint sprigs (one for muddling and one for garnish)
1 3/4 oz Tanqueray gin
1 oz homemade ginger beer
1 lime wheel, for garnish
Steps
Muddle lime juice, simple syrup, and a mint sprig in a mixing glass.
Add the gin, ginger beer, and ice.
Shake and strain into an ice-filled highball glass, add garnishes and straws.

Put the ingredients into an empty glass and grind them with a muddler until all the juices have been extracted from the fruit and any sugar in the recipe is completely dissolved.
Shake and Strain
Fill a shaker two-thirds full of ice and add the ingredients in the order given. Shake for approximately 15s and strain the drink into the appropriate glass.
